Nothing is as valuable as your child's health! You take good and responsible care of your offspring. That deserves a reward: as a member of AOK Nordost, your child can collect points worth cash for many preventive care and sports activities until their 15th birthday.

The levels of the AOK-Kinderbonus

Your child collects points for preventive care and physical activity per level. At the end of the level, the points are paid out as a cash bonus.

Level 1: Children from birth to 3 years of age
Especially in the first years of life, there are many preventive measures that can be taken to ensure a healthy start in life. Even the dentist should be visited for the first time between the ages of 6 and 9 months.

Level 2: Children from 3 to 6 years of age
Now there is an annual visit to the dentist in the calendar. In this age group, the U8 check-up is due. The first opportunities to take up regular sports are now available.

Level 3: Children from 6 to 9 years of age
During this stage of life, the first vaccinations need to be refreshed and the dentist should be visited every six months for a check-up. Those who have already learned to swim can earn their first bronze swimming badge.

Level 4: Children from 9 to 12 years of age
Children become more independent at this stage and are increasingly out and about on their own. To ensure they are safe on the roads, points are also awarded for obtaining a cycling proficiency certificate or successfully attending road safety training. At this stage of life, children should have a check-up at the dentist twice a year in addition to their regular health check-ups.

Level 5: Children from 12 to 15 years of age
During this stage of life, the first adolescent health check-up is due. Some vaccinations need to be refreshed. The dentist should also carry out a check-up every six months.
